Utilice una impresora bluetooth portátil con Android


Tengo una impresora portátil bluetooth con la que puedo comunicarme usando una conexión SPP desde mi Mac(usando Coolterm). Cuando estoy tratando de hacer lo mismo desde Android (utilizando la plataforma 7) me estoy topando con múltiples problemas:

  • La impresora no parece soportar/necesitar autenticación PIN. Al conectar desde OSX, solo seleccioné la opción que decía "No usar un pin" y se emparejó. En Android, cuando uso device.createRfcommSocketToServiceRecord(), siempre termina pidiéndome un PIN / Clave(que no tienen / necesitan). Resolví esto usando el truco de reflexión:

    Method m = device.getClass().getMethod("createInsecureRfcommSocket", new Class[] {int.class});
    BluetoothSocket connection = (BluetoothSocket) m.invoke(device, 1);
    

    No estoy seguro de si esto realmente funcionó, pero el LED parpadeante de la impresora deja de parpadear, lo que me hace creer que lo hizo.

  • Una vez que tengo el socket, intento escribir datos de bytes en la secuencia usando:

    buffer[0] = (byte) 0x8A;
    buffer[1] = (byte) 0xC1;
    buffer[2] = (byte) 0x04;
    outStream.write(buffer);
    int response = inStream.read();

    El envío de la misma secuencia de tres bytes desde Coolterm en OSX imprimió una página de prueba desde la impresora. Sin embargo, esto parece hacer que el hilo cuelgue en Android (el Leer).

Hay algo que me estoy perdiendo aquí?

EDITAR: Esto parece funcionar solo cuando establezco el canal en 1. Así que eso significa que estoy en algo aquí.
