Tengo un video que he convertido al formato FLV. Prefiero alojarlo en mi propio sitio que usar un servicio como YouTube. ¿Cuál es el jugador más fácil de usar? Me gustaría poner el .archivo swf del reproductor en algún lugar de mi servidor, y darle el vídeo como un parámetro.

Prefiero el nuevo reproductor de código abierto directamente desde Adobe: Strobe Media Playback. Es totalmente libre y de código abierto, licencia BSD. Tiene plugins para comercialización y CDN. tiene plugin de youtube. Puede crear fácilmente nuevos temas.

Sin embargo, la documentación en este punto no es muy buena.

Personalmente soy un gran fan de JW, aunque he oído que Floplayer también es bueno. JW tiene una enorme cantidad de características y tiene una interfaz muy limpia. Se tarda menos de un minuto en configurar un video en línea; yo mismo alojo todos mis videos, en su mayoría clips de videojuegos y demos x264. (Ejemplo 1 Ejemplo 2 Ejemplo 3 Ejemplo 4 Ejemplo 5)

Uso JW FLV Player y es muy bueno. También soporta FLV streaming así que si utilizas mod_flv con Lighttpd por ejemplo puedes hacerte dueño de little youtube. También hay un mod_flv para apache y también puede usar un script php (o cualquier idioma de su elección) para habilitar la transmisión.
