Cómo convertir un elemento de diseño a un mapa de bits?

Este fragmento de código ayuda.

A Drawable se puede dibujar sobre a Canvas, y a Canvas se puede respaldar con a Bitmap:

MÉTODO 1 : O bien puede convertir directamente a mapa de bits como este

Bitmap myLogo = BitmapFactory.decodeResource(context.getResources(), R.drawable.my_drawable);

MÉTODO 2 : Incluso puede convertir el recurso en el elemento de diseño y de eso puede obtener un mapa de bits como este

Bitmap myLogo = ((BitmapDrawable)getResources().getDrawable(R.drawable.logo)).getBitmap();

For API > 22 getDrawable method moved to the ResourcesCompat class so for that you do something like this

Bitmap myLogo = ((BitmapDrawable) ResourcesCompat.getDrawable(context.getResources(), R.drawable.logo, null)).getBitmap();

De PictureDrawable a Bitmap, use:

Bitmap bmp = pictureDrawableToBitmap((PictureDrawable) drawable);

Así que después de mirar (y usar) las otras respuestas, parece que todas manejan ColorDrawable y PaintDrawable mal. (Especialmente en lollipop) parecía que Shader s fueron retocados por lo que los bloques sólidos de colores no se manejaron correctamente.

A diferencia de los demás, si llama a setBounds en el Drawable antes de pedir convertirlo en un mapa de bits, dibujará el mapa de bits en el tamaño correcto!

Android proporciona una solución no directa: BitmapDrawable. Para obtener el mapa de bits, tendremos que proporcionar el id de recurso R.drawable.flower_pic a a BitmapDrawable y luego enviarlo a a Bitmap.
